Description
Written for Advent Service at the Lutheran Church of the Ascension in Atlanta, this piece is a neo-Baroque exploration of the classic 15th-century tune. It preserves much of the original melody while subjecting it to Fugal interludes and some mixed meter interpretations. It's not too challenging and is sure to provide a classically sacred holiday vibe wherever it's played.
