"The Air We Breathe" is a homespun collection of songs I made during my final year of grad school. It is a chronicle of my perspective as a 23-year-old white male living in Brooklyn, early 2016. The album deals with themes of identity, social unrest, regret, love, isolation, artistic fulfillment, paranoia, personality disorders, and self-doubt.
Some of the influences heard on this album might include: Fiona Apple, The Smiths, Beach Boys, Beatles, They Might Be Giants, Stevie Wonder, Brahms, Mahler, Brian May, Frank Zappa, Aretha Franklin, Bang On A Can, Feist, Paul McCartney, Mozart, Wilson Pickett, Radiohead, Weezer, Cage The Elephant, David Bowie, and Soundgarden.creditsreleased February 8, 2017
